Welcome to natHacks 2026!

This year, natHacks will take place in person at the University of Alberta. Participant teams will solve real-world problems within one of three themes: Healthcare & Accessibility, Defense & Security, Construction & Manufacturing.

Each participant must complete the registration form below to be eligible for natHacks 2026. Be sure to read and understand the natHacks 2026 rules before registering.

HOW TO JOIN

  • 01 — Read & Sign

    Review the rules, then download, complete and sign the participation agreement digitally. You will be asked to upload the signed file in this application form.

  • 02 — Submit Your Application

    Register by October 18th (11:59 PM MT) by filling out the registration form below. Please note that limited spots are remaining.

    The signed participation agreement must be uploaded as part of your application. Please name your signed waiver using this format: FirstName LastName nh26 Waiver.pdf

  • 03 — Authorize Your Deposit

    Visit the Luma page to complete your registration and submit payment information for the partially refundable $50 participant deposit. Your card will only be charged if you are accepted. This covers meals and snacks throughout the event.

    We’ll email you within seven days to confirm that we received your application and share the next steps. If accepted, you’ll also receive key event information.

NATHACKS 2026
REGISTRATION FORM

As a nonprofit organization, registration fees help offset event costs and reduce no-shows and last-minute cancellations.

If the registration fee poses a financial barrier, you may apply for a subsidy for the non-refundable $25 portion here. Participants who receive a subsidy will still be required to submit the $25 refundable deposit, which is returned after participating fully in the event, as outlined in the rules. This deposit helps us ensure all participants show up and fully engage.

All information will be kept confidential and used only to assess eligibility. In some cases, applicants may be asked to provide proof of income or financial need so we can ensure that our limited subsidies are directed to those who need them most. If approved, a Luma coupon will be sent to you via email.
